Who is this weekend for?
If you are a woman around midlife who answers ‘busy’ or ‘fine’ when anyone asks, but who doesn’t feel like they have a lot of space in their lives for themselves, this weekend is perfect for you.
If you are an empty-nester who is wondering what to do with the years that lay ahead, this is a great weekend to begin looking at what will bring meaning and joy to your life.
If time out sounds blissful to you, if you want to look at life a little differently and learn some ways to make self nurturing a part of your life, to take a breath from your normal routines and do something just for yourself, this weekend retreat is for you.
If you feel nervous about coming and not knowing anyone, why not come with a friend (special rates for you both if you do)? If you do come on your own, it is normal to feel a bit nervous to begin with, but trust that everyone who comes is there for the same purpose – to take some time to honour themselves. You don’t have to worry about being lost in the crowd though, there will only be 6 women on this retreat. This sort of space has a magical way of gathering women with some connection and building new bonds between you.

What others have said
“I just wanted to contact you and thank you for your time and energy over the weekend. I am feeling very calm and peaceful and even slept all night last night! A weekend away on your retreat, was the best financial investment I have ever made! “ Tanya
I didn’t know what to expect but the idea of a retreat in quiet, bushwalking and self development was something I felt I needed. I had plenty of aha moments. I’m now feeling much more tranquil and ready to face the everyday again. Derrin is an amazing coach and mentor and I highly recommend her and the retreat.
I came looking for something. Connection, to others but also to reconnect with myself. I loved the creative exercises and felt inspired when we put all we had learned together at the end of the weekend. It was a nice small group of ladies that I got to know well. I’m so much clearer on where I am going in life now. Kathryn
Who is running this retreat?
Hi I’m Derrin Cramer and I will be leading you through the (d)well weekend retreat. I’m a Life Coach working with women at midlife, helping them work out what lights them up so they can live with purpose and enthusiasm. Self-nurturing is a recurring theme amongst the women I work with so I have focussed this weekend retreat around that need.
I love working with women, helping them find what brings meaning to their life (stopping for a little while is a really good first step!), and helping women like you design the next stage of your journey.
In my work I draw on the many life lessons that unfolded walking 900km across Spain (and about another 800km since in long distance walks) as well as my experience as a teacher, a gifted education consultant, mentor, author and creative maker. I’m an empty nester and it took a looong walk to work out how I wanted the next stage of my life to look. I’d love to help you work out how it looks for you, without having to walk across a country to work it out.
I know from working with small groups of women in different settings just what magic happens when you bring a group of women together to learn and grow. I also know that lives change as a result and I’d love that for you.
